Emily graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2015. She began her career as a registered nurse (RN) in the ICU at Advocate Christ Medical Center. She worked for over eight years in the ICU, demonstrating a deep commitment to patient care. In 2019, Emily earned her Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification, further enhancing her expertise in critical care.
Continuing her education, Emily returned to Chamberlain University to pursue a Master’s in Nursing and became a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in November 2023. By early 2024, she expanded her professional repertoire by becoming an adjunct clinical instructor for nursing students at the University of St. Francis.
Emily is passionate about spending quality time with her patients, aiming to educate them about their disease processes and medications to manage their illnesses effectively.
In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, attending her son’s sporting events, and traveling!
